Cancellation Policy
We understand that life happens and plans change! If you need to cancel out of a workshop or series, please let us know ASAP. 
We can refund 100% of the cost if you cancel 2 weeks (or more) prior to the event. 
At 2 weeks or less until the event, a 50% refund. 
With less than 48 hours notice, there will be no refund.

  • Intro to Yoga w/ Loretta MILD

    Are you looking for the right opportunity to bring yoga into your life? Do you keep making up excuses for why you haven’t taken the first step? No more excuses. Loretta Zedella is leading this 6-week series for those who wish to bring the life enhancing practice of yoga into their world.

    A true introduction to yoga for those who have never done yoga before (or for whom it is a distant memory). This 6-week series includes fundamentals of breath awareness, proper and safe alignment in beginner yoga poses, and guidance through deep relaxation. Students learn proper technique for moving between poses as well as modifications to make all poses accessible, comfortable and safe.

    This is a unique opportunity to learn the basic principles of yoga and build a foundation for your own yoga practice that will serve you for a lifetime. It is also an excellent opportunity for more experienced yogis to review the basics.

    We'll also explore the use of common yoga props and how they can enhance our movement practice. We'll discover ways yoga can help us deal with tightness and tension from modern technology such as tight hips and shoulders.

    To take this class, you must be able to get down to and up from the floor…it doesn’t have to be pretty and there are no other expectations, except a desire to learn. Don’t be afraid to try!

    *Loretta Zedella has been teaching yoga for over 17 years. She is happy to be sharing these techniques now at YAM after teaching in Ohio at colleges, studios, and employee sites.

    Belly Dance 101: Learn some traditional belly dance basics in 101 minutes.

    End summer and fall in love with belly dance on Friday, Sept. 20th 6:30- 8:11 p.m.

    Erin Passarello, PT will be reviewing the history of traditional belly dance, basic posture, and common moves of the pelvis and spine. Class will end with an activity to help commit the basic posture to muscle memory. No dance experience is needed.

  • Full Moon Gong Bath w/ Ra Ma Kaur MILD

    Come bathe in the sounds of the gong under the energy of the full moon and release what no longer serves your best and highest good. This special event invites a meditative space to reflect on what needs to be seen and what needs to be dissolved. The gong bath opens by tuning in to a higher consciousness and continues by breathing and stretching in yogic fashion.

    This process allows both the mind and body to deeply relax and soak in the sound therapy. Ra Ma incorporates astrological aspects that are occurring at this time in a way that benefits the participants in their cultivation practice. Loose, comfortable clothing and an open mind is suggested.

  • Flow to Nidra w/ Tish WARM

    Come experience a gentle, all level flow of yoga poses to open the body, followed by a pranayama (breath work) practice to help focus the mind. From this calm and centered state you will be guided through Yoga Nidra, a technique for inviting deep relaxation with conscious awareness. In this space between awake and dreaming the mind is open to planting a seed for change... this Sankalpa (intention) is a powerful tool to manifest transformation in your life.

  • You Knead These Balls | Using Therapy Balls to Ease Tension w/ Loretta MILD

    Ever wondered how to use these small rubber balls to erase tension and pain?
    Join Loretta Zedella at Yoga and Massage as we use yoga therapy balls, and specific movement to release tension from the body. Focus on shoulders & low back back pain with time spent on shoulders, neck and hips.
    We are affecting the fascia system, the layer between the skin and our muscles with these self massage techniques. These small balls that are always here to use at our studio are sometimes referred to as Rubber Medicine. We're explore ways to ease tension from our neck to ankles.
    Return home handouts and skills to practice these simple and specific realigning techniques.

    Loretta Zedella is a certified Yoga Tune Up teacher who has trained with the creator of these small balls in both Massachusetts and California. Loretta recently moved from Ohio where she taught yoga to college students for a dozen years. She also has experience teaching desk dwellers ease their tech neck symptoms, and people from kids to seniors for over 17 years. She is happy to share these methods with fellow mountain lovers.
