Intro to Yoga w/ Jennifer MILD

New to yoga? Desiring a slower, more detailed and interactive class structure? Look no further, Intro to Yoga is for you!
This series will help you to embody the physical practice of yoga through discussion and practice of (but not limited to):
- appropriate breathing
- alignment and energetics of basic standing balances, forward bends, backbends, hip mobilizers, twists etc.
- fundamentals of vinyasa (flow) or linking movement with breath
- Centering and restorative tools for rest, relaxation and self inquiry...
Jennifer will provide appropriate modifications for you and YOUR practice, recognizing that every body is different (a beautiful thing!).
Our intention is to build your confidence and awareness of the practice of yoga, so that by the time the series is over, you feel comfortable and empowered to attend classes and to roll out your mat at home, without feeling intimidated or lost.
Questions and dialogue are encouraged as we hope to foster a safe and supportive environment where we can all grow and learn together as a community!
