This is our regularly scheduled weekly class schedule.  It is subject to change as we learn and grow.  We also offer special yoga workshops and class series that require pre-registration.  Check our full calendar for information on holiday class schedules and things like that.

Buti Yoga & Brew WARM
Saturday from 5:15 PM to 6:30 PM

Buti means “a cure that has been hidden or kept secret” and it’s amazing what you can uncover through yoga and movement. Buti Yoga gives the opportunity to soulfully blend power yoga, cardio-intensive tribal dance, conditioning and deep abdominal core work. The movement method tones and sculpts the body while facilitating inner transformation and detoxification on the physical, energetic and emotional levels. Be prepared to sweat with intention and surprise yourself, but leave feeling empowered and energized! After this Saturday night's Buti Yoga we will plan to walk to a nearby brewery for a beer or two.

Restorative Yoga & Massage WARM

End your day with a nourishing blend of restorative Yoga practice and massage. A YAM signature, this class beautifully blends the healing and nourishing qualities of restorative yoga with intuitive body work. Restore the body-heart-mind with a practice to balance energy and promote holistic well-being. Hands on work is completely optional. Class size is limited to allow for each student to have hands on massage throughout the class so sign up ahead of time to reserve your space.

Yoga INgineering: Monthly Master Class WARM
Saturday from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM

Yoga practice over time becomes an INward process, an INquiry, and INvolution. In this 2 hour monthly practice we will work in depth with asana beyond alignment, breathing beyond respiration, and concentration beyond fleeting moments. Come have fun, explore the depths of your practice, and challenge yourself in new ways with the support of a seasoned teacher and enthusiastic community! Pre-requisites: at least 1 year of consistent practice (minimum 4-5 times a week), an exploratory nature, and an open mind! If you have questions please contact Jennifer to discuss.

"Just Yoga" WARM
Monday and Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM

This practice begins with the breath. From there we weave the breath into a comprehensive practice of movement and stillness, life affirming mantra, rejuvenating relaxation and meditation to enliven the body and promote positive states of mind. With a focus on health and wellbeing the physical practice is often challenging yet balanced with options for all; asana is used more as a tool for self exploration than for achieving an aesthetic. Subtle techniques are intelligently woven in to enhance your relationship with your body and your higher self. I invite you to step out of your expectations and perceived limitations in to the vast possibility that lives within you.

Relax & Evolve: Yin & Meditation WARM
Wednesday from 11:45 AM to 1:00 PM

In Yin Yoga tension in the bodily structure is relaxed slowly allowing for a release in the deeper web of connective tissue. By allowing gravity and time to stretch the fascia around the joints we set the body up to sit more comfortably and longer in meditation. In this 75 minute class intentionally sequenced Yin poses serve to relax the body while meditation works to evolve the mind towards personal clarity and connection. Each session will end with ample time in deep rest. Come to calm the mind, open the door to peace, and build a relationship with yourSelf. *Jennifer is mindful in her approach to yin yoga as not to overstretch the body. This class isn’t about extreme flexibility, it’s about opening personal space for ease and steadiness. No experience with either yin yoga or meditation is needed to benefit from this practice. This is a wonderful mid day practice to rejuvenate mindfully without over-exertion.

Sacred Sundays WARM
Sunday from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM

Join Jennifer weekly for 90 minutes of connection and rejuvenation. Class consists of a strong, balanced and transformative asana practice guided by breath and intention (appropriate for all levels with some experience), devotional mantra and meditation, deep rest and time to connect with yourSELF and your community. Expect to sweat, to laugh, and to leave a little lighter in spirit! Jennifer has been teaching these Sunday practices for many years and it is one of the most joyful and soulful experiences she offers. She can't wait to share Sunday nights with the YAM family! ​

Guided Practice WARM
Thursday from 5:30 PM to 6:45 PM

Come each Thursday night to simply breathe and move together with the guidance of a seasoned practitioner, creative sequencer, and skilled teacher. Each week we will take a few minutes at the beginning of class to take requests. What would you like to work on? Mobility, strength, hips, shoulders, standing balance, flying, inverting, meditation, pranayama... Speak up! You get a say in this practice! Requests will be woven into the class intelligently to create a guided practice we all weave together! Leave room for wonder; leave room for play! In order to leave space to enter "the flow" alignment instruction will be left to a minimal so we can evolve in other ways. Because the alignment instruction is minimal in this class it is not recommended for complete beginners.

Wind Down WARM
Wednesday from 7:15 PM to 8:15 PM

Join Stepfanie for a 60-minute practice to help you get over the "hump" of the week. We'll flow gently, then hold soothing restorative poses to allow the body and mind to relax and release. This is a wonderful midweek practice to rejuvenate and revive your energy to get you through to the weekend! This class is appropriate for beginners.

Yoga for Athletes WARM
Friday from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM

Are you a runner or a cyclist? Is your work hard on your body? Would you call yourself “tight” or “not flexible”? This class is for you! We’ll warm up the body, then work on a series of sports-specific poses ideal for tight and strong bodies. We’ll also focus on evening out the imbalances that repetitive movement can create, and we’ll loosen, soothe and strengthen the muscles you need to perform your best.

Gentle Strength MILD
Friday from 11:45 AM to 1:00 PM

This is yoga for real life! Build confidence, balance and strength in a mild, gentle, welcoming environment. We’ll begin and end with restorative poses, maintaining constant connection to the breath throughout our practice. We will use a whole range of props, including the wall, to assist with balance, strength, coordination and flexibility. Believe in yourself — you can do this! This class is for you if: you want to get stronger to help you live a fulfilling, independent life. you struggle with balance and want to feel steadier on your feet. you enjoy gentle yoga but also want to increase confidence and stability. you have been told you need to build strength to relieve pain or find balance in your body. you shy away from traditional strength-training programs. This class is appropriate for all levels, as long as you are comfortable standing on your feet (with the assistance of a wall). It is a mild class with plenty of breaks and rest poses. Stepfanie Romine, E-RYT 200, RYT 500, is trained in yoga for chronic pain, including back pain, and she is an ACE-certified health coach with a decade of experience working in health and fitness. She is studying to become a Functional Training Specialist.

Gentle Yoga MILD
Monday from 11:45 AM to 1:00 PM

In gentle yoga, we enter into the postures gradually—moving in and out of each pose first, and then finding a holding position. This preparation and fluid entry into postures protects and nurtures the joints, muscles, and connective tissue. This type of practice allows you explore your pain-free range of motion and find your edge, so you can come safely and comfortably into the pose, depending on what’s right for your body on any given day. Appropriate all ages and levels. This class is therapeutic in nature - great for athletes as well as those with injuries or pre-existing conditions, past surgeries and limited mobility.

Prenatal Yoga MILD
Monday from 10:00 AM to 11:15 AM

YAM's prenatal yoga class offers a space for mamas-to-be to focus on caring for their physical, mental, emotional and spiritual bodies through movement, breath and meditation. The class will incorporate flow, encouraging movement, and also plenty of relaxation. The class is appropriate for mamas new to yoga and those that have practiced for many years. Summer is a mom to two beautiful boys, practiced yoga through her 2nd pregnancy and has worked with pregnant moms for over seven years at the Children & Family Resource Center.

7 Chakras Yin MILD
Sunday from 4:15 PM to 5:30 PM

This gentle yet transformative class will take practitioners on a journey from root to crown of the Hindu energy system. By freeing up blockages in each of the seven energy centers of the body, we will clear a path for freshly oxygenated blood and prana to flow into our entire being. The results will leave the practitioner feeling relaxed and calm, yet invigorated and vibrant.

Kaiut MILD
Wednesday and Friday from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM

The Kaiut Yoga Method was created by the Brazilian chiropractor and yogi Francisco Kaiut. This class is designed to promote the healthy biomechanical functioning of our joints. The practice unwinds chronic adhesions in the soft tissue and helps to strengthen and unlock the major joints of the body. Both challenging and restorative, this practice is composed of restful, supported Yin postures combined with finely directed micro engagements that together trigger a release of scar tissue and promote healing. Participants will experience profound, regenerative, pain-relieving effects in their whole mind-body system. Come lavish and fortify yourself in the wisdom of this burgeoning school of practice. Gentle Restorative and YIN WARM
Tuesday from 7:15 PM to 8:30 PM

A slow and soothing class aimed at calming the central nervous system and releasing tension in the body. Some of the postures are restorative in nature and utilize blocks, bolsters and straps, wile others are more Yin in nature. These postures are aimed specifically at deeper layers of the body and releasing, what are sometimes, long held patterns of tension and stress. This class seeks to sooth body, mind and spirit. It is suitable for all levels, including those new to yoga and those looking to release, relax and restore.
