Chantal Berot

Chantal was born and raised in Dublin, Ireland. With a french father and Irish mother, she grew up bi-lingual, influencing her pursuit of academic studies in French, Spanish, and Sociology. Chantal is a world traveler and spent two years exploring South America and New Zealand, settling in the heart of the Bolivian jungle to volunteer with Comunidad Inti Wara Yassi (CIWY) animal refuge. Chantal recently co-founded an initiative to prevent further deforestation and promote sustainable businesses in Bolivia. For the last 5 years, Chantal directed summer programs for teens on the Blackfeet Indian Reservation in Montana, teaching the importance of service, outdoor adventure, and cultural immersion. Chantal is an experienced holistic massage therapist and, more recently, completed a yoga teaching training (RYT200) in Dharamsala, India, where she had the honor of meeting His Holiness the Dalai Lama. Chantal has been practicing various styles of yoga for 5 years, from Hatha to Vinyasa to Bikhram, and is excited to continue her journey here in Hendersonville with the YAM community.
