Julia Haman, Yoga Instructor
Julia became enamored with yoga in 2012 and completed her 250-hour teacher training at Asheville Community Yoga in 2016. She has since completed various workshops and trainings focusing on body mechanics and meditation, considering herself a lifelong learner.
Her down-to-earth approach to teaching focuses on guiding students inwards so that they may uncover their own powers of healing and resilience. Her classes offer creative asana (movement) and pranayama (breathwork) sequences that safely invite students to become embodied, regulate their immune systems, and explore their edges. Julia's classes are accessible to all bodies and offer modifications that allow students to honor their needs.
Julia also teaches Spanish at the French Broad River Academy, a middle school for girls, and gets outside whenever she can. From mountain biking to paddling and yoga in the wild, she brings this playful sense of connection to Earth to her yoga classes. Inspired by the magic of these sweet mountains, she aims to empower students on their journey to wellness and is excited to move with you.
