Vivian Smith, Yoga Instructor

Vivian started her yoga journey in 2001 in New York City while completing her masters degree in acting at Rutgers University. After completing her degree ,she continued her daily Bikram Yoga practice. Encouraged by the teachers at Bikram Yoga Soho, she attended Bikram’s nine week teacher training in Hawaii in 2007.

She decided to relocate to Asheville NC in 2008. She worked as a professional theatre artist with North Carolina Stage Company and the Flat Rock Playhouse and as a Bikram Yoga teacher at Bikram Yoga Asheville. Vivian decided to open Bikram Yoga Brevard in March of 2013.

While teaching and overseeing operations at the Brevard studio, she began to build a strong consulting/coaching career, leveraging the strengths of her theatre background to help professionals all over the world communicate and present with power and purpose. Vivian is an eternal student. She comes to each class and each student with compassion, wonder and curiosity. She is forever grateful for her teachers and for the amazing responsibility of teaching others.
